SaveContentMe

Privacy Policy

Updated October 12, 2026

In short

SaveContentMe is a free service that downloads videos and photos from social media by link. There's no sign-up and there are no accounts: we never ask for your name, email address or phone number.

We don't keep the files you download. The site shows ads, is protected from bots by Google reCAPTCHA and may use web analytics to count visits. These partners set their own cookies. The details are below.

This policy covers the website only. The Telegram bot @SaveContentMeBot is a separate way to use the service and handles data differently: send it /privacy to see what it stores.

What we process

The server receives the link you paste, uses it to find the public post and fetches the file from it.

The site is hosted by Vercel, on servers in the USA. Vercel's request logs record technical data such as your IP address, your browser's user agent and the time of the request. The logs are kept for a limited time and are used to run the service and protect it from abuse.

We don't collect names, email addresses or phone numbers, and we don't create accounts. If you write to us yourself, we'll have whatever you send, such as your Telegram name or email address, and we use it only to reply to you.

The files you download

The server fetches the file from the platform, passes it to you and deletes it right after. We keep no copies, and there is no download history tied to a person.

You download the file through a temporary signed link, which stops working within about an hour.

For some links, the server may fetch the file through proxy servers. They receive the link to the post, but no information about you.

Advertising

SaveContentMe is free and supported by ads: before a download you watch a short ad, and the pages show banner ads.

The ads are served by advertising networks. Our partners may include the Yandex Advertising Network and Google (Google Ad Manager or AdSense).

Ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, including personalized ads where you have allowed them, and to measure how ads perform. They handle the data they collect under their own policies: Yandex's at yandex.ru/legal/confidential, and Google's at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Bot protection

To check that requests come from people rather than bots, the site uses Google reCAPTCHA v3. It collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis.

Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms).

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page visits, downloads and visits to Telegram. It uses cookies and processes technical information about your browser, device and actions on the site under Google's rules (policies.google.com/privacy). We remove the post link in the url parameter from page addresses sent to analytics. Ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our tag.

We may also use other analytics services such as Yandex Metrica. They set their own cookies and process data under their own rules.

Cookies

The site itself doesn't set any tracking cookies. Cookies on the site are set by our partners: the ad networks, reCAPTCHA and analytics.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and turn off ad personalization in your Google and Yandex ad settings. You'll still see ads, but they won't be tailored to your interests.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Questions about your data

If you have a question or a request about your data, write to us: @aliw39s. Since there are no accounts, we usually can't link log entries to a particular person.

For data collected by the ad networks, reCAPTCHA or analytics, please contact Google or Yandex directly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if our partners change. The date at the top of the page shows which version is current.
