Why Reddit videos lose their sound
A common problem when you download a Reddit video is ending up with a silent clip. That happens because Reddit stores the picture and the audio separately and only plays them together in its own player. SaveContentMe fetches both parts and merges them into a single MP4, so the video you save has its sound and plays in any player. Any public post with a video or a single image works. Copy the link with Share in the Reddit app, or take the post's address from your browser, old.reddit.com included. Videos are saved as MP4 in the original quality Reddit serves, and images keep the format Reddit stores them in. There's a size limit of about 50 MB, so a heavier clip is downscaled to fit, and very long videos may not download. If the post is just a link to a YouTube video, paste the YouTube link here instead, since YouTube is supported too.
Galleries, the posts with several images, aren't supported, and neither are deleted posts or posts from private communities, which only their members can see. If a Reddit link won't download, check whether it's a gallery.
