Pinterest is full of short videos: recipes, craft tutorials, room makeovers. Saving a pin to a board keeps it inside Pinterest; to have the file itself on your phone or computer, copy the pin's link and paste it here. The Pinterest app usually gives you a short pin.it link, which works just as well as a full pinterest.com address. Links from country versions of the site, such as de.pinterest.com, work too, and the video keeps its shape, vertical or horizontal.
Video pins come as MP4, with sound whenever the original has it. Images are saved whole, in the quality Pinterest serves, not as the shrunken preview you see in the feed, so it's easy to download Pinterest images for a mood board or a reference folder. On size: a video pin over about 50 MB is saved at a lower resolution, and very long videos may be unavailable. The site is free; a short ad before the download pays for it.
One link means one pin: you can't download a whole board or profile at once. The similar pins Pinterest shows underneath each have their own link, so save them one by one.
